The Biggest Games Releasing in November 2025

The Biggest Games Releasing in November 2025

November can be a slow month when it comes to game releases. If so, there’s a reason why. The big hitters are coming and no one wants to get in their way. With the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 this month, September and October of this year were pretty busy.

Still, there are plenty of other hits besides Call of Duty, including puzzle games, VR games, racing games, and more. There will also be some updated versions of some really great games. Yakuza Kiwami 1 and 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch 2, and Fallout 4 is getting an Anniversary Edition that collects all DLC and game content in one pack.

Here are some things to look forward to in November.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment

Release date: November 6, 2025
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2

If you read Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity but wish there was a canon story, you’ll love Age of Imprisonment. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment offers improved combat and a story that is officially a canonical prequel to Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom.

Building off of Tears, Age of Imprisonment features surface and deep combat, as well as several Zonai devices. But don’t expect to build Tears here. Zelda herself takes center stage in Age of Imprisonment, making it a true Legend of Zelda.

Luminous Arise

Release date: November 11, 2025
Platform: PC (Steam), PS5, PS VR2

The music-powered action puzzle Lumineth is back with Lumineth Arise, the first completely new game in 14 years. The game features 35 new levels, 60 training levels, tons of new challenges, and daily updated leaderboards. I hope these don’t get hacked anytime soon and filled with impossible scores.

Lumines has been a highly addictive game ever since the first game was released on the PSP 20 years ago, and this one is probably no different. You can also check out the game as a demo on Steam and PS5. This is one of the few new games that supports PS VR2.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Release date: November 13, 2025
Platform: PC (Steam, Battle.net), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

This is Call of Duty, and we’ve probably explained everything you need to know before picking up this game. Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 is the latest installment in the Black Ops series, featuring a new campaign set in 2035 and serving as a direct sequel to Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, with the return of familiar characters. There’s of course a zombie mode, and multiplayer includes two 20v20 “skirmish” maps and 13 new (and three returning) 6v6 maps.

where the winds meet

Release date: November 14, 2025
Platform: PC (Steam/Epic), PS5

Where Winds Meet is a free-to-play action-adventure RPG set in 10th century China. You take on the role of a young swordsman who fights in wuxia style, a fantasy version of Chinese martial arts often seen in Chinese wuxia movies. The team is touting over 150 hours of solo gameplay and seamless four-player co-op.

Since this is a free-to-play game, it remains to be seen how the monetization aspect of the game will impact the gameplay itself. Visually, however, the game is a real treat, and being free is a good introductory price in that regard.

Marvel’s Deadpool VR

Release date: November 18, 2025
Compatible models: Metaquest 3 / Quest 3S

Ryan Reynolds was busy being Ryan Reynolds, so Neil Patrick Harris voiced the Merc with a Mouth in this superhero VR game. This game was only released on Meta Quest 3/3S and features both ranged and melee combat. And importantly, it features a completely shattered fourth wall. The game’s advertising is also tailored to Deadpool, and we’re hoping for a similar effect in the game.

Kirby’s Air Riders

Release date: November 20, 2025
Platform: Nintendo Switch 2

The last time we heard of a Kirby racing game was 2003’s Kirby’s Air Ride. More than 20 years later, it’s back again. The game features 20 characters and features racing, combat, exploration, and field event modes. It’s strange for Nintendo to release another character-driven racing game just a few months after Mario Kart World, but we’re not complaining. The air ride was great. I’m sure Air Rider will be a hit as well.

Terminator 2D: No Fate

Release date: November 25, 2025
Platform: PC (Steam/Epic), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch/Switch 2

Back in the day, when you had to walk uphill to get to the arcade or video rental store, licensed games were the worst. They bore little resemblance to their movie counterparts, especially since they didn’t look all that similar. In a game like Jurassic Park, where you end up having to shoot hundreds of velociraptors, it’s hard to feel like you’re in the movie and not just a platformer reskinned to resemble parts of the movie.

Terminator 2D: No Fate retains the 16-bit look of many of those games, but lets you experience scenes as the T-800 and Sarah and John Connor, with scenes taken from the movies. Perhaps most interestingly, the game features multiple endings and new “what if” style scenes, such as “What if the T-800 had brutally gunned down all the police officers at Cyberdyne headquarters?”, and you can play them with consequences. This might be what we expected back in the 90s. It’s a licensed game with a sophisticated and authentic feel.
