Bitcoin News: When was your first moment of passion for Bitcoin? Where were you and will you make the moment memorable?
Coinbee: The moment we truly grasped the revolutionary potential of Bitcoin was over a decade ago when our co-founder Marius began intensively studying fundamental principles.
According to him, it was the basic concept of inoperable and absolute amount that immediately fascinated him.
In stark contrast to Fiat Money, which can be freely increased supply by central banks, the total Bitcoin supply is limited to 21 million units. This fundamental rarity, dominated by codes rather than central institutions, was key to us.
Bitcoin News: What do you interpret as a core philosophy of Bitcoin? How is it best to regularly embody this spirit?
Coinbee: For us, the core philosophy of Bitcoin is freedom. Freedom from centralized management, freedom to trade globally, and choose how to save value.
At Coinsbee, we embody this every day by giving people practical ways to use Bitcoin.
Instead of keeping Bitcoin as an abstract investment, you can have them buy gift cards, mobile top-ups and services from around the world. That’s how you transform philosophy into everyday life.
Bitcoin News: How do you measure success in a particular Bitcoin niche? Which specific factors contribute most to achieving this metric?
Coinbee: Success in our niche means adoption. Real people use bitcoin for their actual purchases. The single biggest factor is trust. Users should trust that spending Bitcoin via Coinsbee is fast, reliable and secure. Building that trust will naturally lead to adoption.
Bitcoin News: Where is the greatest potential for Coinsbee’s vertical innovation?
Coinbee: Our vision is simple, but ambitious. It’s about spending Bitcoin on everything, anywhere, from Berlin to Kigali.
Today, Coinsbee already offers one of the world’s largest Crypto gift card catalogs with over 5,000 brands, but we just need to get started. The next step is depth. Not only does it cover the global giant, it also keeps popular local brands out of reach everywhere.
Even if you live in Rwanda or Timor Reste, Bitcoin will need to buy what you need, from mobile top-up to streaming subscriptions.
What excites me the most is the digitalization of services that were previously offline. Utilities, communications and other everyday essentials have been migrated to digital vouchers. Bitcoin is the natural money for this transition, and Coinsbee is building a bridge that connects it all.
Bitcoin News: Do you think you’re a Bitcoin maximalist? If yes, why? If no, why?
Coinbee: I don’t call myself a strict Bitcoin maximalist. Bitcoin is the foundation and strongest signal in the crypto world, and I deeply respect that role.
But I am also practical. Users want to spend not only Bitcoin, but other coins as well. Therefore, Coinsbee supports over 200 cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin leads the way, but inclusion helps ecosystems grow.
Bitcoin News: As a Bitcoin startup, what are the biggest challenges Coinsbee faces right now? What can solve/mitigate this?
Coinbee: Bitcoin is always facing challenges. People want to use it, but using it often felt clunky compared to Fiat. Our mission is to eliminate that complexity. Using Bitcoin should be as easy as tapping your phone in the checkout terminal. That’s exactly what we’re building.
We are expanding our checkout experience so wherever you live, you can pay with a system you already know and trust.
So, the direct integration with global exchanges, local payment providers, and extremely smooth wallet checkouts means the whole process is just a few seconds, or sometimes a second.
Combining speed with trust allows you to provide something that a single wallet or exchange cannot offer on its own. A global, frictionless Bitcoin shopping experience.
Bitcoin News: How do you balance the core spirit of Bitcoin with the broader Web3/Defi ecosystem?
Coinbee: It balances the spirit of Bitcoin and embraces innovations from Web3 and Defi, which are faithful to the core values of freedom and decentralization, while still adding real utilities. For us, it’s not about chasing hype or the latest token trends. It’s about practical integrations that make Bitcoin easier to use.
That’s why we work closely with our wallets, exchanges and payment providers. It’s to provide people with faster checkouts, local payment trusts and access to services that are important in their daily lives.
While Bitcoin continues to be the foundation of what we do, we are not blinded to complementary technology that helps us fulfill our promises. The goal is simple: make Bitcoin the easiest money to actually use, no matter where you live.
Bitcoin News: Who is the most influential bitcoin relationship in the ecosystem?
Coinbee: Some of the most influential relationships are with wallet providers and exchanges that share our vision. We are partners such as Binance Pay, Kucoin Pay, and Bitget Wallet.
We nurture them with transparency, long-term collaboration and constantly looking for opportunities that are beneficial to both parties. Building trust in this industry depends on maintaining your word and delivering consistently.
Bitcoin News: How has your recent collaboration with Bybit helped the size of the company?
Coinbee: Collaborating with Bybit was an important step. With Bybit’s global user base, you have instant access to spending Bitcoin and crypto in your daily life.
Bibit Pay is Bibit’s new payment system and worked quite a bit to integrate as smoothly as possible in the checkout flow. In the case of Coinsbee, it expanded our reach to new regions and audiences, and accelerated growth in regions where Bybit is strong.
Bitcoin News: What products or services are currently the most influential on Coinbees’ roadmap? What is the reason?
Coinbee: The most shocking milestone on our roadmap is loyalty to not only hold Bitcoin, but actually use it. Bitcoin is often treated as a stored asset. We want to turn the story upside down by spending both daily expenses and cost-benefits.
That’s why we’re building shopping experiences that include loyalty perks, exclusive merchant discounts, and seamless entry points across categories (from e-commerce to digital services to mobile top-up).
The idea is simple. For Bitcoin to be money for everyday life, people need both the incentive and ease of using it.
I believe the next three years will be extremely important. This is when Bitcoin is moving from speculation to everyday money and our roadmap is designed to make that transition a reality.
Coinsbee will become a gateway that will make Bitcoin practical, rewarding and globally accessible.
Bitcoin News: What advice would you give fresh Bitcoiners, aiming to leave their mark in the ecosystem?
Coinbee: Don’t be distracted by the hype. First you learn about Bitcoin. Understand why it exists and how it works. Second, if you want to contribute, focus on the actual utility.
Building Bitcoin, even in small ways, makes it easier for everyday people to use. That’s where the real impact is.
Bitcoin News: When Bitcoin reaches global adoption, how do you want to remember its contribution to Bitcoin’s history?
Coinbee: Our co-founder Marius said he hopes Conisby and his contributions will be remembered as part of the movement that made Bitcoin practical.
He added that when people turn around and say, “Coinsby helped me spend Bitcoin in my daily life when there were few others,” that’s enough.
Bitcoin News: If you could go back in time and ask Satoshi one question, what would it be?
Coinbee: If Satoshi could ask one question, “Did you imagine Bitcoin being used as digital gold or as everyday money? Is that important to you?”
