Blocksquare, Vera Capital Partner to Tokenize $1B in US Real Estate

BlockSquare and Vera Capital have announced a $1 billion deal to tokenize real estate assets across the US.

This collaboration brings a diverse portfolio of commercial and multifamily characteristics on the chain, using a scalable token infrastructure compliant with BlockSquare regulations.

Collaboration details

According to a press release shared with Cryptopotato, Vera Capital will launch its own dedicated digital marketplace equipped with BlockSquare’s white-label technology, offering global investors the iconic ownership of US institution-grade real estate.

The first tokenized property under this initiative is a $5.4 million commercial building in Fort Lauderdale, offering a 5% annual return and potential for redevelopment.

Future markets, which are expected to be released in the coming weeks, will feature dozens of tokenized properties in seven US states.

“Vera Capital’s $1 billion roadmap represents a major turning point for real estate tokenization in the US,” said Denis Petrovcic, CEO of BlockSquare. He added that the collaboration will link his company’s technological infrastructure to the investment company’s real estate experience and network.

The partnership began with Vera Capital’s campaign on BlockSquare’s OceanPoint RWA Marketplace Launchpad, raising over 100,000 BST tokens in just an hour. This was achieved far ahead of the initially planned 29-day period.

Early success grants previous free access to the previous latter marketplace technology stack. In return, participants who bet on BST will receive a token reward.

Market development and background

Founded in 2012, Vera Group currently manages more than $100 million in real estate assets through a vertically integrated model that includes brokerages, development, real estate management and investment services.

Our subsidiary Vera Capital aims to make premium real estate investments more accessible by leveraging tokenization to provide minimum investment, increased liquidity and transparency.

Investment companies are expanding their presence in blockchain-based financial services beyond their latest efforts. Its initiatives include Private Equity Holdings, focusing on Web3 infrastructure projects and Decentralized Finance (DEFI) platforms.

Operating in more than 20 countries, BlockSquare builds an infrastructure that connects the global $300 trillion real estate market to Web3. In addition to tokenization tools, OceanPoint sites add a Defi layer that allows borderless access to real estate finance through blockchain integration.

In March 2025, the company announced an upgrade to the RWA Marketplace infrastructure. It aims to improve performance, user experience, and scalability across all platforms built with technology. The extension features a redesigned user interface, smarter trading flows, improved wallet integration, and real-time blockchain indexes with envio.
