The cancer patient recently gained great support from the crypto community after a scammer stole $32,000 from his treatment fund. He grew enough to pay for healthcare and has since started giving surplus cash.
In today’s dark climate of increasing fraud and political instability, such incidents remind us of the lighter side of code. In rare moments, the community came together to correct a major injustice.

Earlier this week, Steam removed the game “Block Blasters” after warning that the community’s Sleuths contained malware that it would steal the code. The game was active for several months, but it required a massive burst of public protests to remove it.
However, the complete story is not well known. That includes bringing together a single cancer patient, dangerous fraud and a crypto community.
Twitch Streamer RastalandTV, 26, is a stage 4 cancer patient with a cryptography look to raise funds for treatment. He fired Cancer Meme Coin at Pump.fun and promoted it in his stream.
The token gained moderate traction and raised about $32,000 from the community.

But soon, a particularly harsh scam took place. The hackers gave this user an on-stream donation, demanding that they play Block Blaster, claiming it was a lesser known indie favorite.
In fact, the game quickly ran out of all of Rastalandtv’s crypto wallets and consumed the creator’s fees obtained from his cancer token.
This shocking incident led the community to rallies on behalf of the streamer’s battle with cancer. Sroots was able to mask the assailant, a young Argentinean citizen living in Miami, and force steam to remove block blasters and other crypto malware games.

Furthermore, the crypto community has been able to bring cancer to new heights. That market capitalization temporarily reached just under $8 million total before RastalandTV announced it had enough resources to continue paying for treatment.
Naturally, this was not perfect, but it brought interest to decline.
Since making this announcement, the Twitch Streamer has begun to donate surplus proceeds to other charitable contributions.

In addition to its major contributions to cancer research institutes, RastalandTV also uses code in its mutual aid campaign to provide support to other terminal patients in need.
Over the past few weeks, the Meme Coin community has come together in response to some particularly appalling news items. The crypto community also needs a cancer-like story.
This episode highlights the ruthless and mercenary nature of today’s con artists, but a better impulse proves to ultimately win.
